SHIFT UP Brings Its Action RPG to Nintendo Switch 2 With a Complete Edition
SHIFT UP has confirmed that Stellar Blade Complete Edition will launch worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, with the exact release time varying by region. The announcement also introduces a new collaboration with Bayonetta, alongside new bonuses and a physical edition containing the full game on its cartridge.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch simultaneously with the Complete Edition’s previously released content, giving new players access to the game’s existing expansions and collaborations in a single package.
The release is scheduled for November 6 at 00:00 KST/JST, corresponding to November 5 at 7:00 AM PST and 3:00 PM GMT.
Stellar Blade Arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 With Its Full Content Package
The Complete Edition is positioned as the definitive version of Stellar Blade for Nintendo Switch 2, bringing together the base game and previously released additional content.
The package includes the collaborations with NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, as well as a collection of new Complete Edition bonuses.
For EVE, these include the Stargazer outfit set, Half-Rim Glasses, Quadruple Rectangle Earring and Planet Diving Suit (Captain). Adam and Lily will also receive Stargazer outfits.
The Drone is additionally getting Stargazer and Fluffy Bear Packs, while the Complete Edition includes 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 Gold.
The physical and digital editions will be priced at $59.99 / £54.99 / €59.99 / ¥7,980 / ₩69,800 MSRP.
Bayonetta Collaboration Adds Four New Outfits for EVE
One of the announcement’s main reveals is a new collaboration with Bayonetta.
EVE will receive four new couture outfits inspired by Bayonetta. Three of them have been shown in the newly released trailer, while SHIFT UP is keeping the fourth design unrevealed for now.
The collaboration will not be exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2. All four outfits will be available for free on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and PC from November 6 at 00:00 KST/JST, or November 5 at 7:00 AM PST / 3:00 PM GMT.
That makes the collaboration a cross-platform addition to Stellar Blade, rather than a feature limited to the upcoming Nintendo version.
The new trailer also uses the collaboration as part of a broader presentation of the game’s story, characters and emotional narrative, giving newcomers an introduction to the world while revisiting familiar elements for existing players.
Pre-Orders Include Early EVE Cosmetics
Pre-orders for Stellar Blade Complete Edition are now open through the Nintendo eShop and participating retailers.
Players who pre-order will receive early access to three cosmetic items for EVE: the Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armor Earrings.
The announcement also introduces a Limited Edition SteelBook featuring new exclusive key art. The SteelBook will be available through participating retailers and Panax, with quantities described as strictly limited.
This gives the launch two distinct physical collector-oriented elements: the standard physical Complete Edition and the separately available Limited Edition SteelBook.
The Physical Edition Includes the Entire Game on Cartridge
The physical release is particularly notable for how SHIFT UP is handling the game data.
Unlike physical releases that rely on a game-key card or require a separate download before the game can be played, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade Complete Edition will ship with the entire game on the cartridge.
SHIFT UP explicitly confirms that no game-key card will be used and that no additional download will be required to play the game.
For players who prioritize physical ownership, this makes the cartridge itself the complete playable version rather than simply a license key for downloading the game.
Nintendo Switch 2 Version Expands Stellar Blade's Reach
The Nintendo Switch 2 release represents another step in the expansion of Stellar Blade beyond its original PlayStation 5 launch.
The Complete Edition arrives with the game’s accumulated post-launch content already integrated into the package, reducing the distinction between the base release and its later additions.
The decision to include the entire game directly on the cartridge is also relevant to the physical release strategy. Nintendo Switch 2 has seen publishers adopt different approaches to physical distribution, making SHIFT UP’s decision to provide the full game data on the cartridge an important practical detail for buyers.
At the same time, the Bayonetta collaboration gives the launch an additional cross-platform element. Rather than being presented solely as a Nintendo Switch 2 promotional feature, the four outfits will become available across the game’s PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 versions.
A Complete Edition Built Around Existing Content and New Additions
Stellar Blade Complete Edition is therefore more than a straightforward Nintendo Switch 2 port.
The package combines the original game with the previously released NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE collaborations, additional character and Drone cosmetics, progression bonuses and the new Bayonetta-inspired outfits.
For newcomers, this creates a single entry point containing the game’s existing content. Returning players, meanwhile, have a new platform version and another free collaboration to look forward to.
The announcement also leaves one element of the Bayonetta collaboration undisclosed: the fourth EVE outfit. SHIFT UP has confirmed its existence but has not yet revealed its design.
Stellar Blade Complete Edition Launches November 5
Stellar Blade Complete Edition will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, with the release beginning at midnight on November 6 in KST/JST regions.
Pre-orders are already available, while the Limited Edition SteelBook can also be pre-ordered through participating retailers and Panax.
With the complete game included on the physical cartridge, the Nintendo Switch 2 edition arrives as a full-content package rather than a game-key card release. Combined with the new Bayonetta collaboration and the existing NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE content, the launch gives Stellar Blade another significant release point in its ongoing lifecycle.
